The Appliqué Series – Ever wonder how the artists who create the patterns and samples you see hanging in the shop produce such beautiful appliqué?  Three local experts will be sharing their preferred method in this fun series of classes.  Take one, two, or all three and discover the appliqué method that suits you best.

Needle-turned Appliqué the Jillily Way

Saturday, September 18^th

   Join Jill Finley of Jillily Studios to discover the secrets behind her many beautifully appliquéd quilts. You’ll complete an elegant flower block using her glue baste method that will teach you vines, curves, points, and cleavage.

   Cori Blunt’s Chitter Chatter Designs patterns are loved and admired by quilter’s around the world.  Cori has designed an adorable Halloween pillow for this class that will help you learn her freezer paper method of appliqué.

    Try several types of fusible webbing while learning the raw edge, blanket stitch, and satin stitch machine appliqué methods.

 Make a fun bag, table runner, or Onesie with Christine Lockhart of “All My Bags & Quilts Too!”  Christine has chosen several of her wonderful patterns to teach this quarter.  Learn her tips, tricks, and techniques for these fun projects.  Bring your own fabrics or purchase one of our kits.  What terrific gifts to give for the holidays!
