Thimbles and Threads now has longarm quilting services available.
Cathie Zimmerman, owner of Thimbles & Threads, has been a longarm quilter for 8 years. The shop keeps her hopping and she doesn't get much time on the longarm, but she does consult with and advise the two very talented longarmer's currently providing quilting services in the shop on each and every quilt that comes through.

Simple pantograph or all over meander $.01/per square inch
Detailed pantograph $.015/per square inch
Block motifs $.02/per square inch
SID/heavy stipple/heirloom quilting $.025/per square inch
Border patterns add $10.00 per border
Do you prefer the time-honored and amazing tradition of handquilting? We can baste your backing/batting/quilt top at 4" intervals vertically and horizontally for just $.005/per square inch. Eliminates the need for pin basting!

Thimbles & Theads is thrilled to have Dixie Anderson of Longarm Lucy's providing quilting services for our customers. Dixie is in the shop to pick up and deliver quilts every Monday afternoon beginning at 1:00 p.m. Dixie has an incredible selection of Statler Stitcher patterns available for her Gammill and has amazing turn-around time of 1-2 weeks. Her work is impeccable! The computerized Statler Stitcher offers an enormous selection of patterns, from simple to amazingly detailed, at a much lower cost than custom quilting. To see samples, please ask our shop staff to point out the many shop samples Dixie has quilted for us.
